In the summer of 2024, Nathaniel Hood finally found his voice. As a member of local acts River Thief and Cyrus Youngman & the Kingfishers, he contributed to the Indy Indie rock scene for years, but in Astrotourist, he realized he had to find his own voice. Melding his passion for jazz, rap, soul, funk, and gospel, while bringing in lyrics steeped in philosophy, nature, contemplation and humor, Astrotourist was born, with no limit on where it may go as Nathaniel plumbs the depths of his own soul and existence itself. On Astrotourist's debut outing, a supergroup of Indianapolis musicians was assembled, all produced by local legend Travis 'Kold Kut' Moore. Astrotourist is an invitation to take a quiet moment and listen, then dance your way through the most intimidating concepts with which we are presented as a human race.
